ASSIGNMENT: Create the most comprehensive reference on the life and works of Uruguay's national hero, General Artigas.

This first stage included planning for the future inclusion of hundreds of historical books salvaged by the National Archives and private collectors.

It was the first website devoted to this topic.

In September 2004, on the contest to select the best Uruguayan Web site (organized by the state-owned Uruguayan telecomunications company ANTEL) it was awarded the First Price on the Education Cathegory.
